Visited ZSTI in Gliwice (Poland) for a second session today as a native English speaker!
I presented to classes 5a, 4p & 2i about London, covering:
- A brief history of the Underground network
- How it operates, plus other transport systems like buses and DLR
- Linked London to Poland via a shared historical date: the Polish Uprising and the opening of the London Underground
- Shared insider tips on London's hidden places to visit (Hidden Gems)
- Ran a quiz on London landmarks
Today’s classes were very engaging and class 4p allowed me to stay during their break time to talk more about the English Language, focussing on dialect, accent and British customs.
